Good Days gone Bad...

Its ironic that I am writing about how good things have been lately on a day that has been so bad in so many ways!

The sun has been out! Hurrah! This has meant that we have been outside for a lot the past few days, It has been beautiful and the children have enjoyed it so much. Its great to see them outside, especially as Jack is now looking after Eleanor more, he loves being the protective big brother, it means they will now play together and we can play together as a unit, before he would play with her - saying she was too little and could join in.

I have been talking to a few friends about the amount we do outside of the home. Often we can have a whole week where we dont spend a whole day at home, its great as we get to see so many people and do so many activities but often the house is neglected, I'm worn out and then i get grumpy! It also means a lot of the things I would like to do with the children (ie more art and craft, more cooking and baking) doesnt get done. I have been looking at what I do,I dont go to work but I do quite a bit of volunteer work, I need to cut that down too.

i have now decided we will have at least one full day and another half day at home (Mon to Fri). doesnt sound like much does it? Well its a start!

I must admit I never saw myself as this kind of mum, but I am loving it and wouldnt have it any other way!

(i'll be back and talk about the bad - I have enjoyed writing this post and am now cheery, dont wanna spoil it!)
