love x

What i am loving right now:

my children - they are all so cute / clever etc in thier own unique ways (i obv am biased :)) but each day they bring me so much happiness, Gracie with how she stares into my eyes and looks SO much like my nan Ada, Eleanor with her LOVE of books and song, she even has a sense of rhythm (tho not from me!), Jack loves to ask questions and find out how things work and although when i have tea on and the girls to feed i can at times find it repetitive and tedious i hope he doesnt loose his curiosity and excitement at the little things - seeds sprouting, chickens laying eggs, making and baking x

the outdoors  - the sun is here (most days), the garden is growing and the garden is looking good, with waterbutt, wormery, fire pit (oh yeah - i can now make a fire!) and (half finished) clay oven it is my little piece of the good life x

my friends - you know who you are! things have not been easy this last year or so but you have all been there for me one or another, some of you i have known a long time and others not so much but i value each and every one of you x special thanks go to Laura and Rowena - you rock!

I am so lucky, to have these things but also be a part of an unschooling family, brestfeed both my girls, wear my girls and of course i am SO very fortunate that i do not have to work, ans that is down to my wonderful husband of almost four years - Adam x heres to the next forty years babe! x

family time...

Adam took jack to the childrens centre along with Russ and Pheobe for a local dads group while Laura, me, ezra and eleanor spent some time at home, knitting, chatting, drinking tea and eating cookies :) When they came back we had lunch at ours,it was lovely, although Eleanor did wee and vomit on Russ! - Sorry Russ xx

We then all headed into town, jack spend the whole journey checking he could see 'Russ and Pheobe's car' and shouting when he couldnt see it. when we were parking me and adam started to debate (argue :)) over who was going to wear eleanor! So great that adam is keen to wear her, he even practised with the sling a couple of times when he got home!

We went to a made by artisans event in the centre of town and I got to meet Louise and saw some of her beautiful Art work. We then went for a coffee, grabed for bits for tea and out separate ways home.

Tea was an event in itself! Adam had chosen some meat for tea and although i cooked it for tea i also did myself pasta with peppers and mushrooms - i now remember why i stopped being a vegetarian about 4 years ago, preparing two meals at a time is hard work! - Adam may be great with some things i want to do and he will eat a veggie meal if i put it in front of him for a couple of nights but soons mentions rather loudy that he hasnt seen meat for a while! I stil have some work to do there!

It was so nice to be with another attachment family. great for adam to spend time with another dad who has children the same age and it was esp nice as me and laura have grown so close. better go now as adam wants me to show him some vidoes so he can learn how to wrap Jack on his back!
